Sup Pairings!

Ten rolling through again with another batch of code for those using websites to host their cards. I have them held in a folder here, but I'll also link each set of instructions below in case you're looking for something specific! I've also updated some of the code I linked before, so if you installed any code earlier, I would recommend re-installing them and re-reading the guides to make sure you've got the most up-to-date version.

Displaying ships on your collecting page I THINK I added in selecting your ship type and fixed a spacing issue since the last time I posted this code.

Displaying all 60 cards in an OT3 on your collecting page New code, I think! Handy for OT3 collectors who want to see all the cards they need for an OT3 at once.

Displaying ships on your mastery page I literally finished this one just this morning, and unfortunately I don't have a good number of ot3s/repeated mastered decks to properly test this one out. So! If you have repeated mastered decks and/or OT3s mastered, I'd really appreciate it if you gave me feedback on this code and whether or not it runs properly. as another note to mod-types, please ignore the mastery pairing for the ot3, I needed something to test out the display and didn't have any ot3s mastered yet 8( The cards displayed here don't add to my card count and I'll take down this example ot3 in a week.)

EDIT: If you were interested in having quotes displayed with your masteries/collecting decks, I drafted up two mini guides on how to alter your code to allow for quotes.

You can see examples of almost all the code on my site! If any of the code or my guides don't make sense/break your site horribly at any point, feel free to contact me through this post and I'll help clear things up. And because this is the trading comm and all, I am always open to trades! I'm especially looking for any gangsta decks (heels, tags, pallmall) so I can have a for-real ot3 mastery and lucky dog decks (luckydog x5, maddog, smuggle, assault) for... reasons...

Coding-wise, I'm going to take a little break in order to catch up on graphics and other things, but I'll be tackling mass decks next. If there's any other code you'd be interested in having, I'm open to suggestions! Thanks for your time o7

This is awesome! Thank you so much for all your hard work. I was wondering, would it be possible to have alternate text on the mastery/collecting pages? LIKE instead of the ship itself (ex Hope/Eldarian) it could be... well anything else (ex I'M HERE SOBA NI IRU KARA) or something. I ask because I'm one of those losers who associates her ships with song lyrics and it'd be neat if I could my mastery post over to my page yet keep that aspect of it. If not then please don't stress yourself out over it, I was just curious ♥

Completely replacing the text got a little too antsy for me, but you can definitely add additional text to both pages! If you look at my site, I experimented with my masteries pages and red/blue on the collecting page; it's going to require you to edit a small amount of code with each function though.

How comfortable are you with coding? If you're okay with it, I can point out exactly where and what to add where, otherwise I can just do a full copy/paste of all the code already edited for you on your own doc with instructions.

I WAS GLAD FOR THE OPPORTUNITY i legit have barely worked with php so getting to work on these codes was fun! It's not nearly as painful as I feared it was, anyway.

Oh uh, do you have a folder called etcg? What you c/p'd here is the mastered section under pairings.php for me; what you want is a file that's under the etcg folder called mastered.php and looks like the below:

Heya!

Uhh, how is the mastered paired deck being saved in your mastered section? The code I designed works in that the two singles decks are 'mastered' separately in the system then joined together with the code... if that makes sense...

Ten, slight problem that is me failing at PHP-- when I C&P'd your code, it broke my page? Something about a t string? 8|a I don't know enough about PHP to troubleshoot it myself, and my priority is page not being broken, so I just deleted the new code (pairings.php step) and everything seems to work fine, but I'm not quite sure how I managed to mess up C&Ping. Is there anything I can keep an eye out for in terms of that kind of error and the fixing of it when I try again? :(a

Mmm, I think I actually need to see the page in its broken version to know for sure what went wrong; you changed all the calls to my headers/footers/etc to yours when you changed it, right?

I'm sorry but I don't have the stuff you say to replace in step 2 sobs. I checked func.php, mastered.php, and pairings.php and none of them have it! I checked what you told ankari to replace but none of them have that either? Would it be too much trouble to help me figure out what I'm supposed to do?

I'm trying to install the code for the showing the mastered decks (I finished one and am waiting for the approval). I thought to prepare myself and install the code, just the otp not ot3, ot3 will come later one day when I manage to get the 60 cards.

I did everything but I think I broke my code because

I have the thing for recalling the func in the header, and i have the code at the beginning and end page for footer. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm, I'm seeing nothing at all on the page, yeah.

Have you already doublechecked and made sure you followed all the steps, including notes about specific things that need to be changed (ie header/footer calls, using the correct function calls, etc)?

The blank cards should show up automatically if you're displaying them using the collecting option already available in easyTCG.

And hmm, I don't know if this was just a c/p thing that happened from you c/ping things into pastepin, or copying things out of the doc, but make sure these lines:

It looks like, from my side, parts of the code got put onto new lines when they should be one continuous line... if that makes sense? The code reader will read them as different pieces of code if that's the case and that would be where your error is coming from.

MONTHS BELATED BUT I had a question!

I want to collect the same deck as a ship (so, I want to collect ariadne-ariadne, since I doubt Shadow Labrys will ever get her own deck). But when I try and use your code, it just shows the cards that I've already collected and files the rest of them as "doubles", even if they're two individual collecting decks in my collecting section on etcg. Do you have any idea how I could fix this doubling problem?

"shows the cards that I've already collected" as in, if i have 01, 01, 03, 04 collected it only shows 01, 03, 04 and then files 01 as a double, and not as a separate deck's card

Hi! Sorry for bothering you but I have a problem with your mastery code °-°
If I click on my mastery badge I see this error:

I tried to paste everything from the start a few times (I always keep my old file before editing something) but the result is the same. I even asked the help of a friend more adept than me with coding but she couldn't tell me what it's wrong T_T

Hi Ten! I've mostly gotten the code to work, but I'm getting an error in my easyTCG installation for all of my TCGs after editing mastered.php -
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/needtake_jen2/public_html/diamond/etcg/mastered.php on line 290.

I'm not sure what's going on with it, but I can't get the menu to open at all.
