Code + Mini-Mastery

Hello all, Ten here.

A couple of things! First off, I recently switched over my cards to a site host and I noticed that ETCG's collecting default display wasn't very conducive to collecting pairs. So I fiddled around with the php a little and came up with a few custom codes that you can use to display your cards as a proper ship.

You can find a link to the code and how to install/use it here! If there are any problems/questions/etc, feel free to ask me in this post.

Secondly, I'm aiming for a mini-mastery of smile, so I'd really love to trade for any smiling cards you have. I'm open to trading out any card from my trade pile in exchange for them, as well as regular trades if that suits your fancy. My card site is linked below.

Those codes are very clever! I know a lot of members with eTCG were interested in something like this and a lot of the members had alternate ways to do place the decks together, but so far this is the most practical and least time-consuming solution I've seen o:
I have a question regarding the ot3 section, though, is it possible to display the 60 cards for the ot3 instead of just 30?

Hmm, maybe. It looks like you can collect multiples of the same deck using the collecting page, so if I can get it to pull both versions of the same deck, I think I can get it to work! I'll try tackling this tonight since the masteries page is being a lot more difficult sob...

o whoa okay APPARENTLY if you set up two of each deck and give each ot3 set a different sort number (ie one set of decka/deckb/deckc the sort number 1 and the other set sort number 2), the current code will actually print out both as separate ot3 decks like so. I HAD NO IDEA IT WOULD DO THAT but it is. Apparently a thing it can do.

I can work on having them display as one solid block (how were you thinking of having them displayed so I know which code to fiddle with), but I figured you could use this as a temporary solution in the meantime.

that's amazing! I was hoping to have them as block but more like this:
deck1
deck2
deck1
deck3
deck2
deck3

though I have no idea if that's possible and the mixed cards actually looks cool, too? I might use a bit of both depending on whether it's romantic ot3 or not, so it would be great to have both options. I didn't read the entirety of the code but I'm also wondering if it's impossible to have a hyphen instead of a slash for some decks or if it will always have a slash by default?
I'm not trying it out just yet because lol busy but as soon as I tackle the deck release this weekend, I'm giving this a shot on my card post! Thanks a lot for sharing it~

Isss there a way to have your code leave spacing between the cards when they are displayed (like in the default)?

Oh yes actually! That's a pretty simple edit to do. I think. I'm pretty sure anyway.

You essentially just need to add '& n b s p ;', minus the spaces and the apostrophes, to anywhere the code prints out img html (look for the img src html tags).

So for example!
echo '<img src="'.$tcginfo['cardsurl'].''.$card.'.'.$tcginfo['format'].'" alt="" title="'.$card.'" />';

should be changed to
echo '<img src="'.$tcginfo['cardsurl'].''.$card.'.'.$tcginfo['format'].'" alt="" title="'.$card.'" /> ';

NO IDEA IF THIS WORKS because I'm on a friend's computer right now and can't test it for myself, but if it doesn't just tell me and I'll work it out properly when I get home tomorrow o7
